About the Conference
The International XR-Metaverse Conference is an annual immersive tech event of the International Association of Immersive Technology Innovation (IAITI). It aims to bring industry and academia together in order to discuss, present, showcase the latest trends and advance the immersive technology arena. Initially established in the UK, it has evolved into a premier international event that brings together thought leaders and industry experts. Attendees will explore the ever-evolving of immersive technologies and the metaverse, which have become essential to society. This is an opportunity to engage with the future of this exciting field.

Under the theme of “Bridging between realities: transformative, inclusive and sustainable XR”, the conference committee from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences brings the conference back to the heart of Europe for its 10th anniversary. Here, we aim to take stock of the past 10 years of XR research and practice, and set the agenda for the next decade by building bridges between different disciplines, research and application fields, and academia and practice.
